NRHA announces 2025 rural hospital star ratings, honor roll

NRHA’s Brock Slabach recently announced the winners of the 2025 National Rural Honor Roll, a prestigious accolade recognizing rural health care facilities across the U.S. that have demonstrated outstanding dedication to patient experience and care.

Also awarded are the National Rural Rating System’s Star Ratings, which proudly celebrates those facilities that have earned 4 and 5 stars this quarter.

The CMS Care Compare star recognition program currently excludes more than 60 percent of CAHs.

The National Rural Rating System was developed in 2022 to establish credible criteria for a rating system for rural and critical access hospitals, emergency departments, and clinics.

NRHA has partnered to ensure NRRS helps hospitals earn well-deserved recognition for their commitment to quality and excellence in patient care.
