Katie Gorndt BS, MS

Katie serves as vice president of operations and director of nursing at Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, where she oversees a CAH and various outpatient services. Her leadership focuses on regulatory compliance and promoting patient-centric care. With more than two decades of experience in health care, she's dedicated to improving patient care and fostering leadership excellence. She earned her associate degree in nursing at Antelope Valley College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in integrated health care management from Western Governors University. In previous positions she has spearheaded initiatives focused on quality improvement and establishing innovative programs.
