Senate Appropriations Committee releases summary of FY2014 Senate Labor-HHS bill

The Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee today released their summary of the fiscal year 2014 bill. The bill includes increases in funding for Title VII Nursing programs, Community Mental Health Services Block Grant, Primary Care Training and Enhancement, the National Institute of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The bill includes $290 million for Community Transformation Grants. This is an increase of $144 million.
