New Rural Health Foundation raises $100,000+

The National Rural Health Association launched its new Rural Health Foundation today. The purpose of the foundation is to establish a permanent endowment for rural leadership development for generations to come. " We're proud to report that NRHA leadership and staff have started the ball rolling with their pledges, totaling more than $100,000," says Alan Morgan, NRHA CEO. Another $2,350 has been donated today, and a raffle during NRHA’s Rural Health Clinic and Critical Access Hospital Conferences has already raised $1,100. Please give whatever you can; all contributors will be listed in the first 2013 issue of Rural Roads magazine. Making a donation is easy. NRHA offers secure online giving here. "Next year is the 35th anniversary of our association, and this endeavor is an exciting way to celebrate this milestone anniversary," Morgan says. "If you have not already supported NRHA in this way, we hope you'll consider becoming a part of this historic initiative by contributing today." Learn more about the Rural Health Foundation in a short video here. It features several of the foundation’s founding donors.
