Skill Building Workshop in Seattle


The 2012 Skill Building Workshop for state rural health associations (SRHAs) took place Tuesday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 18th in Seattle, Washington.  Discussion at this year's event focused on the role that SRHAs will play in the future of rural health.  106 rural health leaders from across the country attended the two day meeting representing their respective state's rural health association.  Attendees participated in interactive sessions on membership tools designed for today's economic environment, fundraising, branding, social media,  contract negotiation, community outreach and entrepreneurship.
