House of Representatives for vote on repeal of Affordable Care Act

The House of Representatives has scheduled a vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for Wednesday afternoon.  The House has voted on similar provisions many times over the last 18 months.  The Senate has not agreed to take up a similar provision this week though Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) indicated Tuesday evening that he intended to push for a vote on repeal "soon". The House is expected to pass the provision for repealing ACA but it is unlikely that any Senate measure would pass.  The President has indicated that he will veto all attempts to defund or repeal the ACA.
