23 rural hospital organizations join NRHA to fight rural cuts
Both small and large hospital groups and systems joined NRHA’s efforts to prevent millions of dollars of critical federal funding cuts to rural hospitals. Two rural hospital payments, the Medicare Dependent Hospital program and the Low-Volume Hospital Adjustment are set to expire on October 1 unless Congress intervenes. The hospital groups joined NRHA in sending a strong letter to key members of Capitol Hill asking Congress to protect these two important rural programs. To view the letter click here.
