Rebecca joined NRHA in 2024.
In her role as program services coordinator, she contributes to grant writing, program and meeting coordination, reporting, and logistical support for NRHA’s conferences and health initiatives. She coordinates the National Rural Age-Friendly Initiative, the National Rural Behavioral Health Initiative on Substance Abuse, and the Rural Public Health Preparedness Program. She is dedicated to advancing health care access and equity for underserved populations and promoting health systems that empower marginalized populations.
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience from her diverse background in international development and public health. In her earlier role as a resource mobilization / international programs and operations intern with CARE USA, she worked closely with 42 CARE USA country offices to enhance their partnership types and develop global partnership tools. She conducted comprehensive donor market research, needs assessments, and financial analyses to support fundraising efforts. She also led gender analysis and field evaluations to access CARE’s nutrition and women’s economic empowerment programs in rural Ghana.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ghana and a Master’s in Development Practice from Emory University Laney Graduate School with concentrations in global health and gender justice and a certificate in human rights.
